My jt which I obviously still love, has been the least reliable vehicle I’ve had. It’s had more time in the shop then any car or truck I have ever owned.. and I mean ever, seriously no bs.
Endless Ess nonsense
Battery issues
Wiring harness replacement
Def issue
And going in soon for an oil leak..
Is there something wrong with my head??
However sick in the head or just plain stupid I still love my jt!!

I’m with you, love it too, but trading on a 23 JLU in Earl. It will fit my fishing needs a little better. 😔

I can't comment on loving one through adversity, but as for what effect it has on me... What else is there like it?
4dr convertible? only 3 on the market currently (last one that's out of production was 1967 i believe?)
Convertible truck? only 3 ever made, other 2 are out of production
Manual transmission truck? only 2 in production currently. Most likely the only one in MY2024 and beyond.
Easy to modify? My hands are made of hammers and yet I can still work on a Jeep with success.
Great offroad? Absolutely.
Can haul tons of shit to the campsite? More than a JLU/4dr bronco. Less than a 4runner.

Sure, i treat mine as more of a "lifestyle vehicle" than an off-roader, but i enjoy this lifestyle

For me, being able to drive to & from work with the top down helps make the whole job thing more bearable.

Always have been a Jeep Girl and JT was perfect ( even with its "issues").

It’s just more than I need. My fly fishing gear, rods, bags, etc will just pack more efficiently in the JLU. I’ll really miss the JT, but I’m looking forward to getting some room back in my garage 😂 and I’m really looking forward to Earl!!!

Jeep love is a sickness. Not sure how else you could explain folks routinely overlooking quality control and reliability issues that just wouldn’t fly in other vehicles.

If you “get” the Jeep thing, you’ll overlook a range of issues that would lead owners of other vehicles to get rid of their vehicles. If you don’t “get” the Jeep thing, you’ll move on to something else in short order.
