So yes, I read the owners manual and know that the dial on the left is supposed to dim lights below the dash. But, when I turn it I don't see anything in the interior changing. The one on the right dims and brightens everything, including the cup holders. So what am I missing here?

Yea mine don’t do anything either. I think we all get the dial but if you didn’t add the footwell lighting then it dose nothing. At least that’s my thinking on it …

The bottom of the round headlight switch is the lights in the bed.

Yes, circled dial is for footwell lighting.

No, not all trim levels and packages have said lighting.

The light dial on the left is for the foot well lights, and it works in my JT. The one on the right is for the instrument panel. The left one only does something if the Headlights are on AND the other dimmer switch isn't set to maximum brightness.

IIRC that's the one for the ambient lighting, under the dash/near your feet. It is super subtle, barely noticeable.

Footwell lighting and cup holder lighting. If you’ve got it

pretty sure it's for the bed light.
Not for bed lights. That's not dimmable.

There are probably a half dozen threads outlining the dials and what they DO and do not do........ but this sums it up very well -

The light dial on the left is for the foot well lights, and it works in my JT. The one on the right is for the instrument panel. The left one only does something if the Headlights are on AND the other dimmer switch isn't set to maximum brightness.

Thanks. I'll check again tonight. Thinking my trim level just doesn't have foot well lights.

On my sport, that dial controls the LEDs in the interior door handle.

If you don't have the Ambient Lighting, then the only thing that changes IS the lights in the door handles, which are nearly impossible to see.
