CarPlay starting upon entry to Gladiator…sometimes

New gladiator. I jump in the jeep without touching the start button and sometimes CarPlay plays for about 5 seconds then infotainment turns off. Weird. Anyone experience this?

You have to use an official iPhone cable anything else it acts strange, also make sure your radio is up to date software wise

Yes. If my phone is still plugged in, it usually happens when I open a rear or passenger door. Identical. I’ve just enjoyed the comedy of it.

That’s not the issue here. And mine does it with the 7”, which doesn’t receive updates.

Yep. Happens every now and then if the phone is plugged in. Got the right cable, software is up to date.

I'm sure it's not a bug, it's a feature...
