Cerakote -Trim coat.
I used it on my 17 Cherokee. And it came out amazing. It lasted 4 years. The video was just before I traded it in.

so why not my 23 JT? …the damn wiper cowl is already fading!

⚠ when using this stuff…
-wear nitrile gloves
-do not get it on paint(wipe off immediately if you do)
-take your time.
4-5 packets will do an entire JT and you get enough in a pack to do it almost twice.
-let dry at least 3-4 hours and do not was vehicle for at least 24+ hours. (Rain didn’t seem to be an issue when I did my Cherokee. It rained crazy the day after I did it. Likely because I washed it the day Before.
So , how did the jeep come out?
see for yourself!
See the difference between coated and not.

here’s the rest of it.
I will have to go over some spots and touch up once it dries.

I fully expect this will last 3-4 years though I will likely reapply it every 2 years. Because I’m keeping this jeep as long as possible.

I've used this on my previous 2016 JK and on the plastics on my 2015 Camaro (rear valance, front grille parts). Works really well.

Need to pick up another kit (finally used the last one all up) and do my Gladiator now.

Would this work on a marine-grade vinyl bed cover? I have the BAK Revolver which is a vinyl covered hard roll up. Thanks.

in my experience ive only used it on hard surfaces. I'd test it on a small area and roll it up a few times and find out.

Great stuff. I've been using it since I bought the JT. One application will last most of the summer into the fall.

So everything but the actual paint? Tires?
What’s the best one for paint?

So I tried this stuff today on the wiper cowl.
removed it from the jeep and followed the instructions.
I used 1 of the 10 packets.
I'm happy with the results really brought back the luster and sheen.
It was a little over 17 bucks from Home Depot and maybe 1 hour of my time.
Next I might try the windshield tie downs.
Now the BIG question is what does the Florida sun think about this stuff.

Used this on my wheel well trim which was looking bad with fading and whites spots. Amazing and very easy to apply. Well worth the price which at first seems expensive but one wipe did three wells and probably could have done the fourth but I started experimenting with other parts. Amazing stuff if it last 6 months to a year.

I didn’t take any close ups, but it’s definitely legit. I used it on my 2020 that’s never spent a night inside its whole life and my 2016 club car that lives outside nine months of the year. Both had servers neglected plastics. On the Jeep, the wiper cowl, fender flare trim, tailgate and bed trim, door handles, and the door handles were getting pretty bad. It hadn’t been detailed in three years and I spent all day yesterday detailing it. I did the cerakote today. Yesterday, I got the paint looking new again. Today, the trim looks like new again. Hopefully, the cerakote lasts.
