Jeep Gladiator Changes to BOH IMG_2261

Trail 11 at Rausch, Pa., fun simple trail flexing my Mojave frame and getting rear tires up in the air. Great first trail but was glad I had taken off my Rough Country steps and put on Mopar performance step rails! I was leading and when at the top of the 150 yards of this I took the bypass, only to be humbled enough by my friend Joe Burns to back up the by pass and run it ,rear tires were a foot in the air back and forth all the way downward and front sway bar was disconnected, we all have to be newbies at least once, I have now moved onto “Poser”…..Jack

Don’t consider myself a “Badge Whore” but not getting badges for Snake & Quartz took the wind out of my sails 🫣. Thinking about revisiting Hot Springs with some buddies and some more armor 🤔 but this really turned my trip plans upside down 🤨. Maybe add an extra day to dig in the dirt for diamonds with my wife 😂 in Crater of Diamond State Park.

OP, don't count out Hot Springs ORV. It is a fantastic park with trails from mild to wild. You can easily spend 3 days wheeling there. May I suggest "Ultimate Adventure"?

Just checked the app and it says they will be adding new trails this year, it also listed all the ones they're removing. The florida one is just a sand road, pretty sure its only there because florida is one of the biggest jeep markets so they have something for all the mall crawlers to run.
They should have left the Florida trail the way it was when it was first added. A group of us went out within the first week it was added. We were out there cutting down trees and winching all day. It was actually technical. We left with a few broken parts.

But, I agree. It's pretty much a dirt road now. My backyard is more technical than that BOH trail.

Maybe I should get my backyard added.🤣🤣🤣

@Sempe-Fi Rubicon There are plenty of Badge trails at Rausch and AOAA.

@Jaxmax got a little high centered there on Crawl Daddy, semi-large rocks (300-500lb.) were easily shifting out of the way and causing issues. As @bleda2002 said, the trails are getting pretty warn and increasing in difficulty.

The Ocala trail was easy but I never would have driven through a jungle of cacti, with bear and lizards running around otherwise. It was fun.

It looks like Trail 16 from Windrock has also been eliminated. I had heard they were going to cut back to only 2 trails per site. So , it's only Trail 51 and 26 now.

I didn’t realize the Dosy Ershim was BOH. I’ve been wanting to hit that trail…

the Montana Wild Bill trail could be tossed, as it’s just a dirt road with side sections that are all dug up by a dozer or small excavator. We wanted to camp in that area so hit the trail, but was disappointed.

the good news is that with the switch to the new Gladiator, I have a reason to hit all of the previous trails again, just not sure how to do that without using a new login. Need to research…

Why is Bald Mountain in NC not a BOH trail? Are there certain peramiters to qualify for BOH?

I'm gonna start making my own badges that suit my own style.

Home Depot parking lot - this one involves slick maneuvering and stealthy parking for no damage
Houston I-10 Gridlock - this one is a real test of patience
Food Truck Park - this one tests your gut integrity and wheeling prowess after fifteen tacos
Local dive bar - Get home without a DWI or vehicular homicide, get a badge

From BOH

“Thank you for contacting Jeep Badge of Honor!
In the spirit of the Jeep Brand, new Jeeps need to earn their own badges. Unfortunately, at this time, we are only able to have one vehicle per Badge of Honor account. We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it. For now, we suggest creating a new account with a new email address, so you can request the same badges your old vehicle has completed.
Badges can only be earned once per vehicle. Once you wheel all the previously completed trails with your new Jeep, then we can merge your two accounts if you would like. Please earn the same trail badges for each vehicle prior to requesting the merging of accounts.
Thank you and have a wonderful day!
Jeep Badge of Honor”
LOL….fail. Oh well, new account it is…
