Charging RV battery from the jeep

My solar panel is broken so I am using the jeep to charge the RV battery.
who long can I used this for. Is 1 hr good. ? It pulling 6 amps.
any suggestions.

It depends on the condition of the batteries in the Jeep. I would limit it to a few hours without the engine running. It would be a good idea to carry a very high capacity jump starter with you.

I'd say until you run out of fuel. As long as the engine is running I would think that 120v bed plug would provide its rated power (400 watts) as long as you want.

I have the engine running while I charge the RV battery. .
I didn't watch your video. I assumed you were charging the RV battery through the 12v line in the trailer plug. Using the 120v outlet is not a very efficient way to charge the RV battery. You would need to be very careful, but using jumper cables to connect to RV battery to the Main battery and then starting the engine would charge it up faster.

If your trying to charge 12 volt battery just plug in trailer plug to Jeep willl Jeep is running check voltage on trailer battery it should be charging

Wow. It is working really good . I am getting about 8 amp to 9 amps , don’t know how many watts is that. But it seem to be working really good.

I run the Jeep for a hour so far.
can’t find any info about the plug on bead of the jeep.
