Definitely go with the Diesel specific 2.5" coils! These were designed to provide the same exact height, just using a slightly higher spring rate to help with the heavier front end.
I went with the 2.5” HD Diesel springs and I’m really happy with the performance. No bottom out issues and great ride quality.

JK Gear and Gadgets is a big reason I pulled the trigger on the 3.5" Overland Plus lift. I've been extremely happy with this lift running 40's and using it as a rock crawler. Get flex, beefy, and quiet. I'm happy to hear your continuing to work with Ben.

Just finished 2.5” ride right. Love the stance and the ride is very nice. Gonna be even better once I add some weight to it. Barely fit in the garage.

I just ordered my new wheels and Fox 2.0 performance shocks. I'm getting quotes to install the Clayton Overland+ 2.5" lift kit with the shocks and alignment. What is a reasonable labor cost range to install this lift kit + shocks + alignment? Do you recommend any specific shops in the Maryland area? TIA

Usually the Overland Plus kit with shocks takes on average 6 to 8 hours to install. Best thing to do would be to get the hourly rate of some local shops in your area, and then start shopping actual install quotes from there!

Thanks for that info. I noticed your signature says "PM for forum discounts". Is there a coupon code to use on the Clayton site when ordering??:)

Looking at getting the Ride Right 2.5" for my gasser. Currently have 2" AEV spacer lifts with Rubicon front springs on my Max tow. Looking for a little more height on my JT.

Do these offer a little higher lift than advertised? Maybe closer to 3" overall?

3-4" of lift on mine and its a High Altitude gas model. I think it was about 4" in the front and 3" in the rear. But I didn't measure stock height so can't say for sure.

If you want to measure between your spring perches, I'll do the same on mine. So you can know how much height difference.

Thanks! I'd appreciate that. I'll measure mine when I get out of work here.

All of our lifts provide about 1/2" more lift than advertised, when measuring from the rear, and then a little more than that in the front since we remove about an inch of factory rake! :like:

Thanks! That's about 1" more that I'll get with this kit. Appreciate your help!
