Clearlidz Freedom Panel...Thoughts?

This appeared in my Google feed this morning. It's not something I would buy but I am wondering what the rest of the group thinks? It's a bit pricey too!

I personally think it is a good alternative to the Sunrider for hardtop and considering it.

$1300 for a sunroof that doesn’t automatically retract? Pass. Maybe in Seattle where it rains most of the time and the sun doesn’t come out much. This set-up would be perfect for that environment.

i think you're better off with a sunrider unless you live in England or Seattle.

Maybe .... But I would have to change my name from WetWilly to Maverick or consider just being called Top Gun. To many decisions to make ! And with that price tag it should come with a Jeep attached. But people always called me Jeep Charlie and it took me a while to figure out they were saying CHEAP Charlie.

I looked into this quite a bit. Enough reports of leaking issues and view distortion from the molded reinforcement ribs that I decided against it.

Have you ever been in a greenhouse in the summer? I think this would be the same effect.

Pass for me. Plus hard pass on purchasing from q'tech. I've heard their business sucks as of recently.
