I have the small screen, no satellite, no gps radio. It looses 3 minutes a week, every week since July. Dealer says there is nothing they can do. One night out of the clear blue it lost over 2 hours. That only happened once. The three minutes isn’t terrible just annoying. I reset it every Monday on the way to work.
Nothing... except replace the faulty unit.

Ditto, same in my JK. 3min per week. I just kinda roll with it now, got used to it when JK was DD

So why isn’t the radio being replaced under warranty? It’s defective or it would keep accurate time.

Gatorized- I agree.
It doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the radio. It all depends where the clock is kept. It could be a body computer or or another computer / module. But wherever it is it ought to be addressed not just dismissed. I’ve had 9 Jeeps in various models and this is the first to have this problem. Hopefully they’ll come up with a fix once enough people bitch. Just like other stuff that isn’t physically broken or obviously unsafe.

Satellite radio but they still don't just have an "atomic clock" that syncs with the free 60kHz radio signal from the NIST atomic clocks? Apple Car Play but it doesn't update the clock with the known accurate time of the attached phone every time it's attached?

Feels like one of the design teams is WAY behind the times

How fast are you driving - do you hit 88 mph by any chance?

The aerodynamics of the JT in comparison with the Delorean may be enough to modify the calculation for the mph required... so hypothetically it could still be the reason! Or maybe just the improved cooling...

Yep - that's how I feel, too - it's definitely making me younger. Feel like a kid again.
