My first TJ had the windshield replaced once. My current TJ has a cracked windshield right now. I've had my JT for about 9 months and so far it's still intact.

One time and one repair from Safelite. That would be awesome to try out. I was almost to a year before I was passing the gravel spreader truck for ice and snow. Got that one repaired but while being repaired it continued to crack. Love to have a new windshield and test it out.

Just got one of those “phantom” cracks that seem to come out of now where. So I will be replacing mine when winter is over.

Nothing on mine yet. Hopefully it stays that way. It’s only 6 mons old. As someone else stated in an earlier post, there seem to be a lot tiny pits in it when the sunlight hits it just right. I’m certainly interested in this film.

Zero.. almost 25,000 miles. The only thing that's cracked is the person behind the windshield.

1 time on the JT, twice on the YJ, just replaced the wife's on her Camry and replaced the windshield on my dodge dually. After the last tornado that went thru a couple days ago my current JT windshield looks like its been sandblasted and will be replace it soon.

I've replaced a few windshields. Hell, I bought my current JT with a big rock smash on it, and traded in my old JKUR that had a rock smash

I will say this about your above statement. Not once in my entire life have I seen "a cracked windshield end a day of wheeling", and I've seen too many to count cracked or busted. Lol.

I looked through your "care" page and wonder how long this covering will really last in the real world of Jeeps. First light mud puddle, hit the wipers, covering is toast.

Depends on which Jeep. Old TJ seemed like it would break if you breathed on it ?

Been lucky so far with the JT <knock on wood>.

Took a 700 mile family trip in the wife's JLU, and on the way back, less than a mile from home, we heard the rock hit. Cracked immediately..... ? RIP
