I thought the point of the Mojave was desert running at speed?

It is.....I am sure it does well. I know my Raptor does great for driving at good speed down long winding dirt road in South Texas....

Yep...it is very good on rough roads at higher speeds than I've comfortably been able to achieve in my regular RAM 1500. It also retains reasonable capabilities on tighter off-road trails. Likely not as good or fast on rough roads than the Raptor but much better on tight trails than the Raptor.

Everything's a trade-off - $$$, time, environment, needs, etc.

I have owned 4 raptors 2 Jk Rubicons my JT Rubicon is best hands down. Raptors are for those hoping to buy a capable vehicle with recognition but are afraid to get dirty. I call the Girls

I agree that the Mojave has a nice ride.. better then I was thinking it was going to be, having driven older version Jeep Wranglers in the past and I also own a 1997 TJ Wrangler Sport..

Sting Ray Gray is kind of growing on me now with the color. I was looking originally for Gator or Gobi but honestly I think Gray changed my mind and now I'm happy I picked it over my first 2 color choices.
