I tried to retire back in 2014, but didn't quite do it. I was laid up after my second shoulder surgery for three months and dying of boredom. The service manager called me and asked me to come back, even if only part time. I said how much more money it would take and I would do two days a week. I did that for three years, then decided to do three days a week to cover the cost of vehicle related hobbies. I'm planning on trying full retirement again around the middle of next year.Working 4 tens is nice. I did that for a couple of years. I was offered 3 twelves for my last 10 years. That was almost like a part-time job.

Man I can't count the number of times the Lockheed contractors I worked with used that line on some super technical stuff those of us with a TS clearance still didn't get the info on to actually fix things.
