Cool workaround or epic fail idea?

So this dude has an epic wrap on his truck, Sadly it cost $4-$6k. The little wheels were turning in my head and I thought maybe, yeah, I did, yes! I had an idea...
My truck is black. What if, hear me out for a minute, what if I got a few of the colors, in vinyl, made some camo shapes and used my wife's vinyl cutter to basically make that design for under $100?

There was a white bmw I used to see that had blue and grey camo shapes. Looked neat. I don’t know why it would not work. Worst case- peel them off.

I recommend go light with the white. I have a hunting blind with quite a bit of white in it. Not sure why. Doesn't really work, IMO.
