I’m starting to regret my decision to go with the Core TB. I’m running a stock height Mojave and went with the Core for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately I have run into two issues over the first few months after I installed it.
First (my fault for not reading the fine print on Steer Smarts page), the TB was crushing the pitman arm nut provided with their stabilizing brace. I corrected this by removing the sector shaft part of the brace while retaining the gear box bracket. See photos.
Second, I’m now noticing the TB is contacting the OEM diff cover. This TB is stated to work with 0” lift and I assumed it would be well within parameters on a Mojave which sits 1” higher off the lot than the JTR. Nope. I’m frustrated because it’s an investment and now I’m debating a solution..
Replace TB? If so, which manufacturer?
The factory height and 37’s with the Falcon 3.3’s is perfect for my usage. That being said, should I just lift it another 1”?
thoughts?
