I love ugly, weird vehicles. It's one of the reasons I got my Gladiator. I think it's awesome when car companies make something that looks different than what everyone else is producing. I would be very interested in getting a Cybertruck, but will happily wait several years to see how it does in the real world.

I actually hope it's so successful that other manufacturers realize that there is an audience for vehicles that aren't just plain and dull and copies of what everyone else is doing.

Tires weren’t aired down. Probably would have crawled right up if they were.

The real issue is that the cyber truck is supposed to be a tri-motor setup with 2 in the rear, which should let it act as a rear locker. The fact it struggled so much means the AWD system isnt actually acting like a locker which will really hamper it given the insane torque and horsepower.

I like it, especially how “ugly” it is, but until they figure out how to make it go at least 300 miles OFFROAD I’m out. I don’t want to have to tow a generator.
I cant do 300 miles on road much less off road even with gas. (At least not with out being in serious jeopardy of being down to literal fumes).

If you put that wiper blade straight up, it looks like are Bissel floor sweeper! Can you imagine how boring it would be, looking like every other cybertruck out there. Think of the poor kid being picked at school, if there is a line up of these in the children pick up area. They will need to put an animal image on the cybertruck, like they do in school buses, so the child will know, which is his parents.

They are so ugly, I could never own one for that alone. But what I like is they might set some standards, like it is BULLET PROOF!! I want my JT to be bullet proof, sign me up!!!!
The proportions of the rear wheels/end are awful. You see this big expanse of flat featureless metal with a tiny dark wheel well that makes the tires appear awkwardly small. I foresee expensive and ugly trail damage on those panels.

I'm waiting for them to make my Jeep go 300 miles on or off road... I'm lucky if I break 250 out of a tank on road.

My point is you can bring more gas. Good luck finding a charging station in the middle of the Mojave Desert or Death Valley.
There's 8-10 in that exact area, and they are no more than 60 miles apart. The entire mojave road from end to end (and there are charging stations in Barstow and Needles) is only 100 miles. We've run it multiple times and I don't carry extra fuel. Are there a few trips where you might exceed 200 miles in a long weekend wheeling? Sure, but it's far more uncommon than people think.

I have zero fucks to give about a EV shit box on wheels that will fail or fail to deliver as promised for over priced MSRP. Rewind a few years back and the fail bullet proof glass LOL

BTW, less then 2% of trail heads have charging points/stations......so its useless. Why must we discuss it???

Go to the Jeep BOH app and see how many trails accommodate the 4Xe owners.........case closed

Another problem is going to be the weight. They weigh around 10k lbs.

I not sure why some people hate it so much. It almost seems personal. I have a deposit on one since 2019 lol. It was something new and different. I've since changed my mind about it and placed a deposit for a 2024 gx550. It has lost its luster and novelty over the last couple of years.

Because 90% of truck culture in the US is telling other truck owners they don't have a "real truck" ?
