I just pre-ordered the Ring auto cam. It has everything I need; front view and interior view, plus can talk through it, cloud upload videos, check on car real time with the LTE $60/year subscription which I think is a fair price.
Oh wow, I'm definitely going to order this as well. The annual price is far cheaper than Owlcam for similar service, and I already have Ring cameras in my home so its one less app to check. Thank you for sharing!

I received the Ring Dashcam. Has anyone found a good way to mount it?! I could prop it up supported by the windshield sticker, but hoping fir a better way.

I used the provided arm and adhesive, then ran the cable as advised to the OBD. Nice and clean IMO, and easy install.

I have the rexing V2 pro and did a slight mod to drop the basic rear view mirror about a 1/4 inch. The cam sits perfectly above the mirror and the wires tuck behind the plastic trim and the unit is easily removable when the doors are off so I can stash it or take it with me. I hardly know it's there

Has anyone wired the dash cam into one of AUX switch wires? There are couple videos showing how to wire them inside the cabin.

I've been wondering if a three-camera setup would be best. Having a rear camera helped me out when I was rear-ended in another vehicle. Caught the girl obviously texting on her phone. Front camera showed that the guy in front of me jammed his brakes and turned without signaling, I was following at a safe distance, and I slowed down at an appropriate/controlled manner.

In the Gladiator we have the issue of.... where to mount the rear camera? Many people put it on the hardtop glass, but then we're without the camera when we remove the hardtop.

With a camera that shows the inside cabin, I wonder if it would get enough footage of the back when the top is off. I've not seen anyone do it before, or at least show pictures of what it captures.

Another option would be getting a waterproof camera, and running it out the cabin, under the bed and back to the license plate area. I like this idea, but then it wouldn't capture anything if someone tried messing with your jeep from the side of the bed. Keys the car, slams a door or cart into the side etc. Not sure how often that would be an issue and you'd still have blind spots regardless.
