I found a sarge green Mojave that I really like, but no heated seats. These are a must for me, helps my lower back issues. Anyway, the salesman said they could have that option installed. That seems like allot to do, also a costly dealer add on option to have.
Anyone heard of this?

Thanks

They can do it. The retro fit is usually not that big of a deal, however, it may be more expensive for them to do it than to factory order. I would try and negotiate to where it’s not more expensive than if the vehicle came equipped with it to begin with - since heated seats are part of the cold weather package it is a package with other options you may not be getting such as remote start - so maybe get them to give it to you at parts cost.

Remote start also comes with the convenience group.
I bought my '20 Rubicon used in July 2021 with 15,000 miles. Loving it so far though the horror stories here about the two batteries dying simultaneously and costing $900 gives me the willies! Anyway, What are all the features of "the convenient group"? I have heated seats and remote start but I don't know what else that includes?

It does NOT have the 110v outlet in the bed or the front facing camera - both of which I wish it had. It didn't haver bed rails but I've since ordered them from Amazon and installed them. No spray in bedliner either and Linex wanted $650!!! for it so I passed for now.
Are there other things I'm missing from fully optioned?

FWIW the factory bedliner is $595 MSRP and doesn’t have the lifetime warranty.

That's part of the off-road package as I recall........ with strap, bag, gloves, etc.

8 weeks, I wish that was a reality - well, maybe - if you order the right stuff in the right color from the right dealer at the right time.
4 weeks, mine is still not even scheduled to build. Others have been waiting 8 weeks with no word.
It's a craps shoot. It might be 8 weeks, could be 16 weeks.

When I bought my Silverado the dealer had the only one in the whole area that was even close. They searched the country for what I wanted - nothing anywhere. So we discussed what it would take to sell me the one on the lot that was close - but missing some things.
They sold me that truck - and added those features for the same money that it would have cost if they were ordered as factory option. They looked up what it cost, and said they'd install, matching those numbers. And it was perfect, couldn't tell it wasn't factory install.

MWP minus 1% if you use the affiliate pricing to buy the truck.
IMO, it would take an act of congress to mess up the factory stuff. It's brutal. I've hauled iron in my truck, engines, car parts, a load of scrap iron - you'd never know it.

I’m not so much worried about the durability or adhesion as much as I am worried about the finish. Desert summers are no joke and uv rays wear down everything and everyone.

I ordered exactly what I wanted, and tried to wait patiently. It was worth it. I got a great trade value, well below msrp, and I got to complain when it took 16 weeks instead of 12. ?

But seriously, got exactly what I wanted ?

Factory bed liner, cold weather group, convenience group, MT, etc

So he wants you to buy the one you dont really want , Now you have the "Ball". Its a chance to get rid of that thing that they cant sell. I would visit and walk out a few times until they drop that price considerably. How long are you going to have this Gladiator ?

Edit: MikeyK did it right

Don't fall for it. Order what you want, or search for one already equipped.

Guess I got lucky cause I ordered a max tow with all of the packages except smokers, got the hardtop with lheadliner, bed spray, sidesteps, really everything. Ordered it 2/20 and had it 4/11. Did not use a big dealer. Just one of the smaller ones in the middle of older part of town.
