Stock is cool........how many miles?

When I got death wobble at 33k, it was the ball joints were smoked. Literally everything else was new after my MC 4.5 GC lift. Only thing stock or untouched was the ball joints.

I replaced the ball joints were replaced with the Metalcloak baller joints at home by me.......money and issue fixed

Mine started doing that last year with only about 33,000 miles on it. Only happened when I had the stock Bridgestone Duelers on it. I would swap out when taking long highway trips. Usually had the Firestone MT's on it. Doesn't happen with the heavier MT's. I also just discovered my front shocks are leaking, so that might be part of the issue also.

it has 63k on it. I’m thinking I need to maybe switch to something like that. Can you buy them in a kit? Would you happen to have a link to them?

Buy once, cry once.

The install was butter using the ICON ball joint kit from HF. Was money well spent. Also the ability to adjust preload and rebuild them was my selling point......plus they look cool lol

Check the simple things first. My end links were loose, and every little bump sounded like something was clanking in the front end. It was as simple as tighten the end links.

I work for no man.
Had the problem on my '22 JT with very few miles at the time. The dealer replaced the front stabilizer bar, and it has had no problems in the past year and a half.

There’s a particular humped and curved section of the interstate that caused it to happen to my 22. I know what it feels like because my JKU had death wobble. Feelsbadman.

I have a bone stock 2022 Jeep gladiator. On my way to work this morning I was coming around the corner around 45 mph and hit a pothole in the road and my whole truck started shaking all over the place. And to add to that a few weeks ago, I noticed when I’m turning really slow pulling into my driveway and I turned the wheel back-and-forth. I can hear some movement. Almost like a popping sound. I guess my question is could that popping sound be the culprit of the death wobble? And if so, what should be the first thing I look for?
I’ve heard people say it’s the track bar, but I’m wondering if it’s something else
Have you found out what it was yet?
I just replaced my heavy Firestone MT tires with more stock-like Bridgestone AT Asents, and my death wobble came back. At highway speeds when I hit a pot hole or big expansion joint.
Probable going to take it to the alignment shop that I trust.
