I ordered a JT about 4 months ago and got confirmation that it was built and ready to be shipped to the dealer 3 weeks ago. And so far it has not left Toledo, Ohio.

How long should it take for it to finally get on a transport truck and get to the dealer in California?

I ordered a Mojave that was "awaiting shipping" right after thanksgiving. Jeep customer service said it would be delivered the week of 27 Dec. Came and went...no jeep. When I pinged Jeep customer service on chat they updated delivery to 13-24 Jan. I'm in Central Texas so maybe a dif experience here

Lots of good context in this thread. Seems to be no rhyme or reason to some of it, but you are definitely on the long end.

If it's going to California it's actually going to be on a train. Anything over 250 miles or so from Toledo gets the same transport method.

Jeep likes to wait until they can fill out entire railcars so that is one reason why train shipments take longer than truckload.

The train is only half the problem... I have been sitting at the local rail yard <10mi from the dealer for going on 3 weeks. Truck Transport is an issue too. Ordered 10/8 and still waiting.

I don’t think anyone knows the alchemy involved. I placed an order on January 15th, picked it up from the dealer last Saturday. So exactly 4 weeks from deposit to drive-off. Not anything super special, other than Max tow, but it wasn’t something they had sitting around. I certainly win the lottery on that one, but why? No clue.

Ordered Jan 3rd, Mojave is built. No dealer ETA.
