Delrin Door Hinge Liners for life in the world of winter salt?

Minnesota spreads a lot of salt in the winter! Did any of you living in the northern states preemptively replace the door hinge liners on your new Jeep with Delrin? Thought it might make sense before the originals get stuck in place. I doubt that I will be taking my doors off very often.

JonML, you should probably add a 3.5" bigger lift and at least 2" larger diameter tires to your basket as well.

Thanks for the reply! Just a wild guess, but I would think we see a way different winter than you do. You would be amazed at the amount of salt we use. Annoying but a fact of life up here.

Did this in PA. PennDOT uses mountains of salt in the winter. Holding up great 4 years later. - jump to 6:38

Thanks for the video! I've been looking at other videos too, and, if you want to insert these, it sure makes sense to do it early before the old ones have corroded!

Agreed. I waited on my 2013 JKU and it was messy.
