Does anyone have the Diamondback switchback cover? If so, can you post some pics and thoughts on it? I like the ease of flipping the cover on itself to get more open bed space as opposed to how it lifts up (would have to take off the panel at the hinges to get the open height space).
My homie recently got one shortly after they came out. There's a thread on them already

Thanks Sarge. Guess I did not realize it was the Switchback (though it is in the title LOL). I had seen that thread, but had watched the video when I first bought the Gladiator and did not realize it was the Switchback (I think I would see the pics of yours in the middle of the thread and skip past it thinking it was an HD LOL).

The pick I used was a bit short, so for easier access use a pick that is as long as the rail is wide. You need to push in on one side then pull on the other to release each clip.
I also used a zip tie as a probe to help with locating the clips on the firat side… you can see in the pictures there is a barrier around the clips - knowing how they are oriented aides in getting the pick onto the clip.
I put the red strips on the shims so they stand out in the

Selling my SE so I removed my bed caps one more time to remove the shims.
The pick was the game changer. Thanks for sharing.

Switchback is unique in some categories. Easy to install/ easy instructions/ somewhat expensive but that’s due to the higher quality. Had issue with one of the clamps. They responded within 24 hours on sending new parts. I’m not an engineer but some minor changes should be a priority on that clamp.
For those with molle on either side: mine interfered with clamps. So a simple metal blade on a jig saw and a few minutes of file work changed the dynamics so the clamps would close properly. Molle is still very stable with the 2 bolts top/bottom at the rear. Overall great choice.

Anybody use the DiamondBackSE with Teraflex Uinta Cargo Bed Rail System ? I'm assuming it should work but wanted to confirm. Also looking at a used DiamondBack and I noticed online they have the option of trial rail system or not so are there different mounting clips that are needed?

Cant speak for the Teraflex specific cargo system. But the option on DB's website for trail rail or not is due to the different type of clamps they include. I personally have the OEM Mopar trail rail system so can only speak for that personally (which works great) But I'd imagine the clamps included would work with any system. You could always reach out to DB and ask but I'd be willing to bet it would work. But to answer yoru question as far as the option for them is just to determine which type of brackets they include to be able to mount and attach the center panel to the bed sides if that makes sense. As you can see below the clamps for the middle panel attach inside of the rail system. Not exactly sure how the non rail system clamps they have work.

Thank you! That makes perfect sense. I'll hit up DB and see what they suggest. The used cover owner doesn't have a trail rail system so I doubt those clamps would work but should be easy enough to get some ordered.

Yeah Id imagine so. DB has always been on point with customer service so Im sure you could order some specific for your set up. Honestly it probably be the same ones I have if I had to guess but yeah Id just ask to make sure.

I see you had other replies. Just thought I would also mention I don't have Teraflex rails either but I made mine with SuperStrut from Home Depot.
It's been holding perfectly for 3+ years.

Those P/Ns you posted checkout as correct, odd not the ones I used. I have a 2023 Mojave.
Maybe mopar rotates P/N's don't know.
Rail Cap, Left - Mopar (68343263AB) 32.31
Rail Cap, Right - Mopar (68343262AB) 31.77

I strongly suggest to go pick them up instead of shipping.

If I ever remove my bed rail caps, I won't use the rubber shims DB supplies, Instead Ill use some Phenolic or plastic about a 1/32-1/16 taller.

I removed my bed caps to install the shims, and although it was a bit tedious, once you kind of figure out how to do it and have like a pry tool, you can get them off pretty well. I may only snapped one clip off of one of the sides did not affect anything

I'm using the Teraflex rails with no issues.
