So when I bought my (used) 2020 Mojave it had an OEM steel front bumper on it, but it can't be stock because it didn't fit correctly. The stock Mojave steel skid plate does not fit correctly. My question is do they make an OEM steel front bumper that fits correctly with the stock steel skid plate?

Yes. There's a stock 3 piece steel front bumper and I believe an OEM aftermarket 1 piece as well.

Mojave had a plastic bumper and silver skid plate , Rubicon also came standard with plastic bumper and same skid plate only black. There is a different factory skid plate to bolt to the factory steel bumper, actually bolts along bottom of bumper. So if you in fact have the factory steel bumper on a Mojave you can get the right skid plate if needed, and might have some issue with the remote shocks but not sure….Jack

No, as has been said, factory plastic with a specific skid plate for the reservoirs to bolt to.

Now, Fox makes a universal bracket that will move the reservoirs to the side of each frame horn and then you can install whatever front bumper you want.

So I actually have fox 2.5 Elite front shocks coming for my Mojave, so they will probably have those new mounts you are talking about...
From the looks of it, I may also be able to grind the lip down a hair on the OEM steel front bumper to get it to fit with the OEM skid plate

So I have read a number of posts on this today. I found the steel skid plate number. But I am unsure if it will bolt up to the Mojave brackets.
Seems like a factory steel bumper on a Mojave would be something people would commonly do. Although I can't find any threads on doing it ..

I plan to go this route with my Mojave.

So my plan with the 2024 Mojave X coming out this year is to just hold on and in hopes that the mopar 3 piece steel bumper will fit the older model with the factory installed skid plate….

This ^^^ is the only post that correctly explains what is going on.
Stock Mojave silver skid plate will not work with the OEM/Mopar Steel Bumper. Neither will the stock Rubicon black skid plate. Not without modifying the skid plate or the bumper.

The black skid plate that is designed for the OEM/Mopar bumper will work on both Rubicon and Mojave without any additional modifications. The remote reservoir shocks do not need to be relocated.

I may have been in error on this.

To add to this, the Mojave fox shocks and reservoir brackets fit just fine on Rubicons.
The shocks (I forget, front top?) need a sleeve for the bigger bolt holes, and since the coil bucket is raised, the wire brackets holding the shock hoses don’t fit.

I would check the weight of the Mopar steel bumper. Adding a winch plate and winch to it will probably put at least 150 lb. on the front of the Mojave, causing a lot of bounce and hitting the bump stops, and taking the shocks out of their sweet spot almost all the time.
