Did you sell your original Sport tires/wheels?

stock F150'S AND mail trucks use the sport tire size. 245 whatever it is. i sold one set to a ford truck for 300, couldnt give away the rims, put them back on the JT when it got totaled so they kinda saved my bacon.

i cant sell my freedom edition wheels and tires either but im not trying super hard. Ive posted them a few times and no one wants them. Ill store them until i need them, sell them, or scrap them.

This has me wondering if mojave take-offs would fit on my FIL's grand cherokee WK summit. tirerack doesn't show 17s as an option on that vehicle, so probably a case of too small rims, too big tires.

I believe the 17” wheels won’t work if they have the larger (HD) brakes. The JT Sport S tires are an inch bigger than the stock Laredo tires, and I wouldn’t advise going much larger than that without lifting. They’re pretty close to the front edge of wheel wells up front.

Like others have said, the tires are easy to sell. Don’t try to sell them on a Jeep forum. The guy who bought mine (Overland Bridgestone AS) put them on a GMC truck with 18” wheels. He got a good deal. I only sold them for $400, they’re over $200/tire on tire rack.

I'm not sure I follow what you're saying. Are you suggesting that there is no longer any tire pressure measurement system in Gladiators? That doesn't seem right, every car I see has tire pressure anymore... I'd think TPMS is as valuable as ever.

The frequency of the tpms system changed in the later year model 2021s and up making them no longer compatible.

I kept mine in the corner of the garage until it was time to move. After no bites even at $100, I took them all to a local used tire place and gave them to them. I had maybe 1k miles on them.

Yes, as stated, June 2021, so fairly late in the model year, a running change as they call it.
Benny of allmoparparts can give the exact details such as part numbers, etc.


As I am replacing my 2020 with a 2022 and keeping my matching spare wheel, etc. - I'll need to order a 2022 TPMS sensor for the new truck. Luckily the rims themselves didn't change.
It would have been SO easy to just move my current wheels/tires to the new truck but now they have to be switched around differently due to that change.

I sold mine back in Dec of 2020 and if memory serves me correct, it was $500 for tires, rims, and TPS. They had 3 miles on them i think. He was putting them on a Grand Cherokee I believe. Don't remember the year of the GC.

I sold my 2021 sport rims, tires, and spare without tpms with 3k miles for 400$ to a Cherokee owner. This is the Raleigh NC area. It took a few months.
