After our last excursion in Mohave desert getting into some pretty challenging rock crawling with a few rock strikes underneath and scaring the wife it was a great feeling having her say " thank God you installed the skids and lift kit" after questioning " do we really need that?" when I bought and installed them. Then she told me to get some protection for the diffs. WIN WIN!
Rancho gliders bolted right up, no issues. Debating on steering stabilizer relocation or front skid for the next project.
I have plastic bumper, no plans to replace. any suggestions? I do like A$fir stuff.

Dave, I’m skidded up on about everything , even the exhaust loop on a gasser, plastic or metal bumper a hitch skid is the thing , I have a Warfab Sheridan which works great if tucks in tight to bumper and skid has a shackle attachment point. I have a habit of modifying everything I get and modified the Warfab to make it tighter up against the hitch and also rounded the edges at corners for when walking into it, amazing how a 45 degree corner doesn’t hurt, there are lots of other hitch skids to choose from.
Your oil pan skid is scratched and perhaps bent up a little on the right side, the thing about skids is they get bent and beat up , but that is the real Badges of Honor on your Jeep!…….Jack

I never liked the skids/sliders that installed using the diff cover bolts.
I had a ‘cage like’ diff skid that pulled the bolts out slightly and caused a diff leak.

Just something wrong about using the diff cover bolts for anything other than the diff cover. 😉

Jaymax, the skid is definitely scratched from Mohave rocks that day and it does look a bit bent, I'll have to take a closer look. I appreciate the badge comment! I put 5 skids on my Liberty and took it everywhere. always felt safer and never damaged anything.

Janster, I get your point about using diff bolts, however the glider does directly touch the diff housing and ears so any impact is not just on bolts. I like the gliders over just a diff cover or cage over the cover. I got them to protect when we get in a tough spot. I don't go looking for rock crawling challenges, it's more about getting through spots without damage. That big scar on oil pan /trans plate just happened recently, I have had the jeep for about 18 months / total @ 60 days on trails and that was the first big hit. For me, it's better than nothing!

Bah humbug and happy holidays to all!
