Nope. My commute with the truck is generally 10 miles a day and then one or two 70 mile round trips over the weekend.

I always push the button to turn auto stop / start off.

On occasion I forget, and then the system seems to work fine - which has been my 'gauge' for how good the batteries are 😄
My Tazer does it for me haha. I also use the ESS screen to gauge the aux battery health since it died the other week. Still confused how the Aux battery is bad, yet it doesn't always fail the startup test (f43 still in). I confirmed this yesterday when I turned the ESS back on to check it and the engine shut down, then restarted itself when I disabled ESS again.

At least the system isn't mandated anymore, but doubt they'll stop adding it to new vehicles as "it increases city MPGs..."

I'm too cheap to buy a disabler and I've programmed myself to press the button now 😄

So much so I try to push it in my other car that doesn't have that 'feature' at all.

On the brakes: Do you hit them with brake cleaner during tire rotations? If you’re feeling a dead spot after bleeding it could mean your caliper is retracting a bit too much. It doesn’t always go so much that your pad will rattle from lack of contact. Haven’t had that in a Jeep but have had that on the fronts on a Nissan. I hit mine with a good spray of brake cleaner during every tire rotation. If it looks gunked I’ll wire brush it since it’s already off but I at least hit it with the cleaner to get a majority of the crud gone.

I haven't bled it yet, I want to do it while cycling the ABS pump to fully ensure all air bubbles (if they exist) are bled, but I don't have a tool to do that.

It DOES stop just fine, and tbh I never really liked how sensitive the brake pedals on newer vehicles have become. Even back in 2008 when they started getting really sensitive, barely touch it and you're stopping like it's an emergency.

I guess I'll see what happens after I need pads in a couple months.

Does anyone know if Jeep changed the seal kit for the front doors over the years? I just had a dealer replace them and they said they added MORE seals which they didn't use under the previous warranty fix for the known door leak.

I'm asking because now my front doors leak 10x worse than they did with the old seals (and less of them too). Rain, car wash, snow/ice melting...now it's almost like there's a leaky faucet vs a couple drips over a few minutes.

@AllMoparParts.com any ideas? I have a 2021 Willys, did Jeep change seals for the front doors over the years?

Not the door seals but there was a TSB that added a diverter on earlier models. We sells the kit here which also links to the TSB instructions

Please let me know if you have any other questions at this time.

Thank you,

Pretty sure this was the kit the dealer referenced. But it leaks worse since they added the new seals, at least with the Freedom panels. I swapped the Bestop Sunrider and it doesn't leak in the same spots, or as bad. Still having Jeep honor their work, just waiting for a loaner (other things they didn't correct last time).

Check the repair order for all of the part numbers used. It could also be a bad installation possibly.

IIRC, they didn't even list the parts used, was one page long...for door seals, body work, paint, new parts, labor, just everything crammed onto that small box on one page. But I'll 2x check.

Went through the wash last night and it was like someone was pouring water on my arm/seat. Grabbed a video of it too.

Something aint right then. The Dealership will warranty the work done so I would take it back to them.

- Benny
I've been in contact with another dealer and corporate, they're playing phone tag at this point due to my job.

Here's a link to leaking seals. They got worse after this video, but it hasn't rain like it did that day when they leaked 10x worse than this video.
