Do I have a lemon gladiator?

So last week I upgraded from a 21 Willy’s to a 22 Mojave. Everything was going smooth and I was very happy.
Couple days later it started making a sound on the left bearing. Whenever I turn left and hit a bump I hear a popping sound. Next thing is the handbrake loose and rattling. I’ve already adjusted it and now its fine.
Today in the morning when I pop the hood I come to realize it does NOT come with purple antifreeze but what it seems to be straight up water.
Not only that but also the engine cover is missing!
Hopefully this is not a lemon cause I really don’t wanna go through the headache of it.
Am I b****ing too much?
Has this happened to anyone else?

Looks like water to me. Watch your engine temps and take it in. If it were mine looking like this, I’d do a taste test for sweetness. Spit it out, gargle fresh water. I would know if it was coolant or not or mix. Mine is pink.

No lemon yet, but quality control might be lacking. Take the Gladiator back to the dealership and point out the problems. If the truck sits at the dealership for a long time, or multiple issues that aren't repairable, then you might have a lemon.

I’ve sent you a PM. I’ve been well down this road and had shuddering in manual shifting and a whine in my transmission. Pulled an oil sample for the lab at 24k kms which found glycol contamination from the factory. Flushed the transmission at a registered transmission shop as dealership didn’t want to do it and cost was on me. Your owners manual grants you permission to change out the fluids if contamination is detected. Transmission imploded at 32k kms. FCA and dealership threw the owners manual away to voided warranty for my use of a non MOPAR ATF even though it was code compliant. It’s now gone legal. We can discuss further through PM as I do not want to highjack this thread.

my 2021 has the popping noise when turning, coming from the front left, speed bumps, under 25pmh i hear it.. Dealer told me there is a tsb, im waiting on parts to arrive to have it fixed. Bigger cotter pins they told me.

I had similar sounding issue on my 2020 but dealership never noted anything during usual inspections when I pointed it out. It has since mostly gone away at 50k miles (started at 30k miles)

Jeep labels them as a 'lifetime fill' that needs no service.

I think it should be changed at least every 50k. If it is not done by the dealer, they are likely to deny warranty coverage if you have any transmission issues. When the fluid is changed, it has to be put back in learning mode. The lifetime fill designation gives them a basis to deny warranty coverage if you have it changed outside of a dealership.

We’ll damn. I wish I saw this earlier before I picked my Jeep up from the dealer for its 20k mile service.

Pg. 439 does expect and authorize the owner to “change the fluid in the tranny IF it becomes contaminated with water etc…” so the owner has to (a) have an oil analysis done to prove contamination and (b) decide if just doing a couple pan drops @ $1700 cad each at the dealership is an effective way to rid the transmission of contamination or does a part clearing just get contaminated with the old …and so on and so on till eventually the contamination is so small it doesn’t matter and you’ve spent how much ($1700 each pan drop) OR is going to a certified and registered transmission technician/shop who can do a complete single flush, the more responsible action to take.

I think there’s other instructions in the manual or warranty information booklet that says something along the lines that if the dealership can’t or is unwilling to perform the repair, the owner has to go elsewhere to get the work done. ??

And this is exactly why, even tho it costs more, I have any fluid changes at the stealership.
