Do other motorists think your OEM LEDs are on high beam?

and then you have the other half that dont turn on there headlights at all...
THIS. It's like a perfect storm of people who either want to blind you or have you hit them in pitch darkness.

Separate topic, but this is why I hate DRLs and any kind of automatic lighting options.

If they are adjusted properly in the first place there should be no need to readjust unless they’ve been impacted or need replaced.
I agree. In my case if I need to readjust its on me since I put a 175 lb topper on the back of my Jeep

That's it right there. Before I put my lift on when I put the tent and had camping gear there was a bit of sag in the rear and everyone flashed me.

That's BS for sure.
Seriously?
Blame the other guy for your lack of correct aim? I'd almost bet that if a CORRECT method was used to check aim on yours (and I don't mean the wall bit) that they'd be off. New or factory doesn't mean correct. Have you had yours checked by proper aiming equipment operated by someone that knows how to use it?
I guess you are the sort that just doesn't care - it's their fault, of course, they are old and don't get it? Right. OK. Wow. OK, kid.
Sorry, modern lighting has been out long enough now that people are used to them. It's the dopes that believe their lights are fine because they can see and it's the other guy's fault that are the problem.

There's a difference between perception and actually being blinded to the point of having spots in your eyes for the next mile by people like you.
Before you jump all over me like a total jerk, why don't you ask if I have verified the headlight settings are correct on my vehicles. You are normally a great contributor here and very helpful, so I'm going to chalk up your poor attitude to having a bad day. The answer is yes by the way for my headlights being set correctly. I have access to a headlight adjustment tool so that they are nearly perfect on all my vehicles; Gladiator, 2X Wrangler, GC, Mini, etc. So move on and annoy someone else if you are having a rough day. And the likelihood that a Jeep vehicle is leaving the factory without its headlights being properly adjusted is negligible on the OPs post.

I seem to get flashed every time I drive at night like I'm driving with my brights on. I don't feel like I should go adjusting the headlights from where the factory sets them, but I also don't want to go around blinding my fellow drivers.
2021 Mojave, and I get flashed by about every 5th person (two-lane rural). That means more drivers than that think they're too bright but don't bother or know how to flash me.

Does anyone know if the factory manually aligns the headlights on each vehicle or are the headlights simply set to a standard alignment for a given model? If the latter is the case, I have to wonder if the Mojave is given the Rubicon alignment, and the extra 1" lift in the front of the Mojave is responsible for my getting flashed all the time.

Need to have them checked.

Nope. Never been high beamed once. Yours are out of adjustment. I’ve had it happen on other brand new vehicles or perhaps yours is lifted or larger tires.

I have a stock Overland with halogen headlights and I still get flashed by people who think they are too bright. I have upgraded to better halogen bulb, but I suspect part of the issue may be the height of the Gladiator compared to most cars. It seems to happen usually when I am cresting a small rise and the other car is in a depression where the low beam happens to hit them in the eyes.
That’s because the light scatter on the OEM halogen housing is the the worst I ever ever seen on a modern vehicle. In comparison, I have the factory LEDs on my Overland and I’ve never been flashed one time. It’s because they have a much sharper cut off.

Do the stock LEDs have auto-leveling for when the load changes the vehicle pitch? All of the German and some Japanese cars I've had with HIDs/LEDs have had that feature, I kinda recall thinking it was a law when HIDs came out.

Reason I ask is I have the Oculus Bi-LEDs which have a sharp cutoff and never normally get flashed. Last night I was driving a dark highway while towing a heavy trailer that pointed the low beams up and nearly every oncoming vehicle flashed their brights at me, it was obvious even just looking down the road that the cutoff had climbed a few degrees. No leveling motors in those aftermarket lights.
Oh yeah, I have been flashed when pulling a heavily loaded Uhaul 6x12.

I stand corrected…

So we have these intense poorly aimed LED headlights on trucks carrying loads/trailers. Not a problem. Ill just get those tactical night time driving glasses two pair for 9.95 plus S&H.
