I have two Jeep Wave oil changes and tire rotations. I'm currently at 5000 miles and have already done two oil changes and one tire rotation. Should I skip having them do the 10,000 mile oil change/tire rotation? I hate letting anyone touch my vehicle. Is it not worth the free oil and filter?
The same here, but w/the last oil change at 5000 miles, I went w/Amsoil, using their oil filters, which are much better quality than OEM or anyone elses including even NAPA/Wix.

My next oil change will be at 10,000, though I wonder if I should move away from 0W-20 and go with 0W/5W-30 instead. It gets hot where I live, in the 100's during the summer months.

I hate to say it, but yes. I’ll just say that I’m glad that I have a FCA built Jeep. FCA made Jeep pretty good again and then Stellantis absolutely ran it into the ground.

Stellantis was created way after the tooling and all parts where designed for the Gladiator. About the only thing new is the dash and infotainment. JTs are mostly using the same part from when they first went into production. Not sure I get how Stellantis ruined the JTs.

Quality control? Parts sourcing? There’s a marked difference between Stellantis built and FCA built jeeps. It’s quite staggering honestly.

Same employees, same manufacturing plants and tooling. I don't agree.

Consider my experience: Wave oil change, 6 quarts 5W-20, said they couldn’t do the rotation because they couldn’t find the lock. Took them to the glove box and showed them where the lock was.

Well, I don't think they'd be happy about doing my tire rotation. My tires weigh 94 pounds each and my wheels weigh 34 pounds each. That's 128 pounds per corner, and I do a five-tire rotation. I'm sure they'd find a reason to not do it!

Hi - I purchased a 2024 Mojave X in October, 2024. Over the winter I used the 4x4 a handful of times, and each time the vehicle was put in 4-wheel drive (4H btw) there was an audible, rhythmic knocking sound coming from the front end. You could hear it in the cab up until ~25 mph or so, then road noise would mask it. I didn't think too much of it, but figured I should get it checked out @ the dealer.

Fast forward to end of March this year, I took it in for initial diagnosis and they said the "entire 4x4 assembly" would have to be rebuilt and they needed to order parts. Parts came in and I dropped it off on 4/17. They replaced what they replaced (I never got an itemized list) but the technician wasn't satisfied with the fix as there was still a noise when 4x4 was engaged and "using a stethoscope." On 4/21 they gave me a loaner to drive and my truck is still sitting at the dealer waiting on more parts, which are on order with a 2-3 week delivery estimate.

As a side-note, my BSM indicators on the mirrors illuminate unevenly, as in the triangle does not light fully. The passenger side is way worse than the drivers side - about 2/3 of the triangle is lit up. After pushing them pretty hard on it, they agreed to replace the passenger side mirror. I haven't seen the results of this yet since the truck is still at the dealer. Again, I had to push them on this for some reason, as they said the BSM system is functioning as it should. My push back was that I didn't say it didn't function, that my issue was with the light indicators themselves. One last item that is bugging me is a random clicky sound coming from the front dashboard area - I can't track it down. It's random and quite consistent over bumps and such. Just aggravating!

I say all of this to say, or to ask - has anyone else noticed a degrade in quality on their newer Gladiators? I should also mention that I owned a 2020 JTR and it was flawless aside from the steering knuckle TSB thing which the dealer took care of. I have to admit that my experience and comparison in quality from a 2020 to a 2024 has gone down.

PS: I have 4,500 miles on the X
I have owned 4,have two now Gladiator Rubicon X and a Gladiator Rubicon, both 2024, first one was same 2020 second one 2023 then 3-4 purchased 6 months apart. 2024 July and 2025 Feb.
Answer your question, quality is same(POOR), The 2024 hasless weather options which cam in very handy being in the Rockies, now it relies on you phone. the big screen is wonderful. loose some and gain some. THe prices were to good to turn down 20% off list no addons and the dealer takes off s bit also.

I don't know how you guys can afford to have so many different Jeeps. I am going to loose over $20K on my '22 . The trans has the clunk but can possibly be fixed with a re program. When the warranty is gone so will the Jeep be gone.

I think maybe QC isnt as good as it was when first introduced. Yea there were a few things that needed TSB etc, but now 5 years later my new one has a few odd things that ive discovered in the almost 2 weeks I have had it. Weird paint spot, new wind noises, hard shifting trans, doors i had to adjust to be flush etc.

Wait, what? You’re willing to lose $20k because you’re concerned about a potential issue when it’s outside of warranty? That makes zero sense. Plus, don’t listen to the naysayers who quote a TSB that doesn’t always relate to your issue. A clunk going into gear on one of the best transmission designs ever made is not reason to sell. Mine did it new and so did the 8 speed in my GMC. It’s a phenomenal transmission. Some just get some bad parts but way blown out of proportion on here.
