Does anyone make a decent tail light guard for the JT?

Apologies if they’re all over the place and my search skills are so poor I can’t find one, but I’m looking for a cage style or bar wrap around type tail light protector. Gladiators have been out for 3 years now so hoping I’m just looking in the wrong places. If anyone has suggestions, I’d appreciate it.

Small correction but you're coming up on 2 years from initial order of the launch edition.

Also, what are you doing to the tail lights that you need them in a cage?

None available yet. I have a guy going to manufacturer a set for me but I put it on the back burner for now because there were other things I wanted to do to my jeep besides the cages. I'll end up doing it eventually.

What do you wanna do? rip the guard off? or rip the taillight off? or both?

Honestly, even if you're wheeling that heavy, you should be paying attention to your corners, and wanting to not plunk one off.

I’m not planning on extreme off-roading. My worry is much of anything in reverse. Those things jut out and would seem a likely impact point.

Ha! I totally get it. I busted a piece of my left tail light housing when I backed into a tree. Some snazzy guards would have prevented this.

I have been looking too. I don't do any rock crawling or mudding ... but I do spend a LOT of time on narrow forest trails in the north woods. I don't mind branch scrapes but I do worry about an errant tree branch hitting a protruding rear tail light. I'm getting the ARB bondi bumper to protect my front fender flares, rocker guards with kickouts for the rear, and limb risers... Tail light guards are on my list. At this point I'm thinking about fabricating some myself...

If you're able, I'd be in line to purchase. I will be taking this on a deer hunting trail in fall and thought the same.
And they would look cool!
I'd be lying if I said that's not part of the reason I'm looking.

Honestly then, here is some advice.

There was a FB group, and I cant even remember which one tbh, so, do some digging and hunt around.

But in the past week? Id say. I remember seeing a guy, who was 3D printing some "flush mounted" rear taillights.. They were basically this flat panel, with an LED ring in the center of it.

Was in the testing/development of it when I skimmed past the post.

Go looking for that, and you'll be on the right track.

Thanks. My wife is on FB so I will ask her to help me find it. I think I've seen something like that here too.

There's been talk of flushmounted led taillights since the day the JT first hit lots.
