Does the AC come on with remote start?

Maybe I'm getting old and senile, but I thought if you did a remote start with the AC on it would come on and help cool the vehicle that has been sitting in sun. My 21 Mojave no longer does that. Am I remembering incorrectly?

My 2024 Sport S did, as does my ‘25 Rubicon and I nearly never have it set in auto mode for Climate Control.

I have my AC in manual mode, it is always on and set at 68 degrees. It comes on with remote start. The system varies the fan speed based on cab temperature. When I hit the Start button, it changes the fan speed back to what I had it set to.

I leave mine set on LO on drivers and passenger side on the screen.It always comes on. Also set on LO the ASS doesn't shut off the engine when stopped.The is a 2026.

If you go to you program info you can set it for ac or heat and you can also set the steering wheel heat if you want.
