Possibly. I guess what I was getting at is there's no definite, concrete answer as to any changes.

Who is going to step up and be the first to disassemble their new pump on camera for YouTube? It should be someone who kept their old pump for a side-by-side comparison. We want to know what is different. The information we all seek is right there under your hood.
I took my old pump apart and it looks fine.

Just had my HPFP replacement today... spoke to the parts department. The new one they installed is a revised version allegedly, haven't seen any design sheets to say otherwise. My pump was on the verge of exploding apparently, and had an interesting metal tick noise that is now gone after pump replacement.

In out and pretty quick, it ran great before and after but it sounds a lot better now.

Did they remove the solenoid and inspect it?

How long has everyone been waiting at their dealer to get the recall done? I put my request in Nov23 at a Socal dealer, checked today and still no word. Is that about right, 5 months now? Assume since it’s in a larger city maybe.
I was told by the dealer I had my service with that. They get allocated one kit every seven days. They told me this in October he told me how many were in front of me and he was within a week or so maybe two weeks when he actually called me which was a shocker, the repair only took about an hour and a half.

Well, Spoke with them today and they said I am number 16 on the list still, so about another 4 months or so. 9 months total, at least she is still running strong and no sign of issues.

Just put in diesel additive every tank. The supplemental documentation now requires you to change the fuel filter every oil change so you might do that as well. additionally, ill limits, the great of fuel to use to a B5, which I’m having a hard time finding. Most of the fuel says between B5 and B20 In my area.

I just got mine back. It looks like the pump, gasket, and fuel line were replaced. They did not flash the ECM.
