This is amazing news! I’ve had two door checks laying around for like two years, but I read that it doesn’t help, so I never put them in. So happy that I can give it a shot with a likelihood that it’ll fix the two that do it on mine.
I hope it does the trick for you too. Same with me - I didn't order them for the longest time because I also read in multiple threads/forums that it doesn't work. This video pushed me to do it because that's the exact noise I have:

Can’t watch right now, but how you described it is the same I think. My driver door, and rear passenger. The two doors that get used most often. Both started early and just kept getting more severe. I can’t wait to t
Swap one and tell you THANKS! But it’ll need to wait until it’s back from the body shop. It goes in on the 6th. I’d be ecstatic if it’s only gone a month. And then I’ll need to rebuild the thing.

I haven’t tried pb, but have lathered one up with white lithium grease. No change.

If it’s clicking, it’s done, however…. The clicking stops when it becomes a paper weight or dog chew toy.

Any aftermarket fabricators that want to run with this and make metal ones?

It would be great to fix this in the aftermarket. I wish I had those skills.

Is it a spring that makes that noise ?

Good question. The click doesn’t sound like a metal spring. It’s definitely plastic sounding.

Went to the dealership today for some brake diagnostic and service and I’m also getting all 4 door checks replaced under warranty! I’ll be good for another year now,…I’ll have to try the PB Blaster

I don’t know, but I don’t think so. I’d need to take one apart to figure it out though.
