Anyone else experiencing a clicking noise with their doors? I found in the JL forum that some Wrangler owners are having the same issue but didn't see anyone mention it with a Gladiator yet.

I've been dealing with this issue since May. Started out with just 2 doors back in May when the dealership suggested just replacing the door checks. Finally took the Jeep back in the middle of July (having difficulties with communication at the dealership but that's another story) and by that time another door started to have the click. They replaced the door checks and the clicking sound was still there so they took apart the door and found there was a bad weld in the door that is causing the click and they'd have to be in contact with Jeep/Chrysler. Jeep Engineer came and look at the doors today and suggested a full replacement of the 3 doors, but I was warned that they come un-painted and matching the Hydro Blue paint might be difficult. Dealership said Jeep/Chrysler will be contacting me with the full details on what they found and what options I have.

I'm glad that its not a mechanical issue but it's still irritating to have the doors click every time you open them. So I'll just wait and see what options they come back with and let everyone here know!

Not yet. Still waiting to hear from them. The dealership was told to price out a replacement and paint for 3 of my 4 doors.

Fun thing. When I got my Gladiator back after the Jeep Engineer looked at it, they didn't put my door fully back on... I need a new dealership!

I have this sound too. It's irritating, but I never thought much of it. Curious to see what you ultimately find out.

Something akin to a creek/click when opening and closing it?
My driver's door started doing that after one of the first times I took the doors off.. I had kinda assumed it was a missalignment of some sort, especially after seeing other folks mention how easily the hinges are moved (I rest my foot on the bottom hinge). Interested to see what you find.

Nope still dealing with this... The 1 dealership finally ended up offering me an extended warranty as they didn't have a fix for it... I laughed. Changing dealerships now...

my driver side door has been clicking intermittently... strange.. I wonder if the cooler weather has an effect on it. Seems more noticeable when the weather warms up.

I think it’s the hinges and not the arm going into the actual door. Also, we drove to Waco Texas in January and it was more humid there as compared to Kansas City. The clicking noise stopped all together. Of course it’s back now but I wonder if the hinges can be repaired versus replacing the doors. It is very annoying and cheapens the Jeep experience.

Ok I think I found a fix, just need someone else to verify it. This is a very easy and simple fix for now using electrical tape. I found that the outer door frame next to the door check is flexing/rubbing the interior door frame. You can test by pulling out on the corner of the door frame to see if it stops. I just forced some folded tape between the seam on the corner and it work.

It is an issue of the inner door weld being broken. Dealership has admitted they will all eventually get this in every door. it is a design flaw that jeep has known about since 2018 in the JL. There is also no real fix. replacement doors will do the same thing. My driver door has done this since 5k miles, when it rains you won't hear it.

Passenger front door on my 22 Sport has developed a click when opening or closing it. Doesn’t sound bad enough to me to be worried about something significant being compromised. Just reporting in, sounds like it’s a Jeep thing for now with no fix?

So the same thing is happening to my 2023 Mojave all of a sudden. I was able to make the sound just by grabbing the lower corner and moving it. I add some rubber in between just as you did and the problem stopped. I have a black mojave so it blends nicely. It is not the door stop it definitely is between the metal.

I just bought a 2021 Mojave with all 4 doors doing this. It was starting to annoy me so took it to dealership and they fixed all four doors. It was covered under my extended warranty coverage that i bought for $3500, so it cost me the $100 deductible. With no coverage per the receipt it would have cost just over $1800, parts were $80.
