Anyone else experiencing a clicking noise with their doors? I found in the JL forum that some Wrangler owners are having the same issue but didn't see anyone mention it with a Gladiator yet.
I've been dealing with this issue since May. Started out with just 2 doors back in May when the dealership suggested just replacing the door checks. Finally took the Jeep back in the middle of July (having difficulties with communication at the dealership but that's another story) and by that time another door started to have the click. They replaced the door checks and the clicking sound was still there so they took apart the door and found there was a bad weld in the door that is causing the click and they'd have to be in contact with Jeep/Chrysler. Jeep Engineer came and look at the doors today and suggested a full replacement of the 3 doors, but I was warned that they come un-painted and matching the Hydro Blue paint might be difficult. Dealership said Jeep/Chrysler will be contacting me with the full details on what they found and what options I have.
I'm glad that its not a mechanical issue but it's still irritating to have the doors click every time you open them. So I'll just wait and see what options they come back with and let everyone here know!
