I was doing a build of a Sport S (because I really don't need a rubicon). I realized that remote start and leather seats are not an option. Is anyone else looking for a fully loaded Sport S and not realized this?
Also....does anyone know the tow load of an Automatic without the max tow package?
Thanks!

Doesn't the 'cold weather' package get you remote start?
BTW: 'Proximity Door Lock' is Not possible on Sport or S/S, at least per the research I've seen. (please someone prove me wrong on this!)
Must go aftermarket on the leather seats-

Remote start can be obtained with the Cold Weather Group option ($995 with remote start, heated seats, heated steering wheel) or the Convenience Group Option ($595 with remote start and universal garage door opener). Leather seats ON THE BUILD TOOL are only available on Rubicon and Overland trim but several people have said that in the past dealers have been able to add or subtract special items not listed on the build tool. So when you're ready to buy, your dealership may be able to add leather seats, probably at the same cost it is to upgrade on the Rubicon/Overland ($1495)

Yup, the same as the JLU Sport S.

On the JLU you can now get MOPAR leather from the factory on the Sport/S. Not sure if/when this will be added to the Gladiator.

There are 2 options and the codes are CBS and CBQ

The sticky is confusing because it shows 3 different sets of ratings for Sport models. I realize one of them is a basic Sport and one is a Sport with Max Towing Group, but what's that second one? It shows a model with 4.10 axles but still has the miserable 1,100 lb. payload and lower towing spec. Odd....
It is confusing. I expected those numbers to be manual with max tow but that's not what the chart says.

The lower numbers with auto and 4.10s are exactly that - 4.10s without max tow, but we can’t (yet?) order a Jeep that way. It appears Jeep changed their minds on allowing 4.10s as a stand-alone option, so for now at least, that line is moot.

Payload and tow rating go way up with the wide axles from the max tow package and rubicon, so an auto sport without it is pretty low.

I think more likely what's happened is that the 2nd line should have read 3.73 axle ratio.

So, you've got:

Sport - 3.73 axle - No towing package
Sport - 3.73 axle - Towing package
Sport - 4.10 wide axle - Max towing package

That's the way it should have been listed with the automatic trans. At least, that's what I've always thought.

Very possible, and makes sense given whats included in 'base tow' - it's also possible that the base towing package was originally going to include 4.10s. On the JKs you got higher gearing with the tow package, so there's some precendence there.
