Well, sadly, I won't get to experience driving in 2 feet of snow this year with my 2022. The storm fizzled out, we got a whopping 2" of snow, 3" tops but I doubt that much. Things shifted by Wednesday and instead of being smack in the middle of the snow warning, we ended up being on the southern edge. I'll call it 2" as I can still see some of the taller grass in the yard and walking through it before the wind picked up was nothing at all.
When I went to town today my wife asked "are you going to drop the plow and drive out on your way in?"
Yup, might as well not driver over the snow and pack it down.
So I did. Man, I love this truck.
It's 9 below, the house thermometer says -9, Alexa says -9 but on the way in to town my truck was optimistic and said it's 26.
Anyway, when I got back I decided to make a couple of other passes with the plow just for fun. Holy cow - I believe the -9 as raising the plow was quick, but hitting lower to let it go into float mode - and exercise in patience (and I have none)
It's going to work fine - I just need to maybe adjust the valve a bit to make it drop really quick when it's warm so it will drop at a reasonable rate when it's cold, and I need to figure out how to apply down-force to drag snow back from in front of where my wife parks and other locations as the truck with plow is LONG. So I have to back-drag, then turn around and push it away. But it seems to either want to float or maybe once it's down, that's as far as it goes.

Roads were mostly snow pack, some 100%, some 60% or so, some rough areas where the plows were still working out there, like intersections and such, parking lots, etc. but it was a breeze getting there and back and I think it's going to plow just fine.
I was so hoping to head toward town and run into a LOT of snow - but I think they got less.

Still nothing.

Soon as I get into 4l and over into M1 (even with the brake on) the truck is just pulling against the brake. Hit the button and try and stay still, nada, hit the button and let it start moving and nothing haha. Just won't engage.

I have 8LUG Front and rear Axle | ARB® Air Locker® | 4.88 - curious if this has any bearing on not being able to engage speed select.

The compressor for the air lockers is tied to aux 1.
I’m not running tons, but do have 5.13:1 gears. Is there any chance the feature got disabled via Tazer or similar when the oem e-lockers were disabled, and the gearing and tire diameters were set?

Wasn't quite two feet. But it was deep. Could have gone farther but with no other way to get out other than digging myself out. Best to stay on the side of caution. No lockers, just 4wd high and no traction control on. Was able to turn around and drive out with no issues. This was last year.

Really good thought. Likely a good chance. I’ll figure that out.

I have loved the Falken Wildpeak AT'S Rubicon take off tires. If the 35's weren't so damn heavy. I'd go that route when I lift it. But looking at the Recon Grappler instead when it does get lifted.
The Falken tires have been pretty much bulletproof for what I do.

Put it in duck mode and it will walk right up that driveway.
I guess I'm behind and new lol, elaborate on said "duck" mode, I'm lost:LOL:

*EDIT* I read further, not 100% my 2020 has it, but I'll be checking tomorrow :) Once the Toyota reference was made to crawl control I got it ?

Nice!...Do you find any use for OFF-Road+ in 4wd in this kind of snow? I would think it would help as it detunes traction and stability control, but it has only snowed once here since I got my Mojave and it was too new -lol, for me to test it then, I was still learning to (constantly) put it into 4wh/4wl back then - LOL.
