My 2021 JTRD has 1,750 miles - only the last 50 with my new lift, wheels, tires, and bumpers. But, so far I’m really impressed with how much better the truck drives. The Fox 2.0 Steering Stabilizer improves the on-center-feel.

Looks amazing and Clayton makes some quality parts. What shocks did you end up going with? Also, happen to have the height or the rig with lift and tires?

thanks man - appreciate the compliment.

I have the Fox Perf Elite 2.5 Reservoir Adj. Shocks. They pair really well with the Clayton kit. The Falcons were $1,700 for all four. But, the diesel version of that shock was not in stock anywhere. Teraflex wouldn’t even give an estimate when they would be available. So, I got the Fox 2.5 and happy that I did. All four are $2,750 but I really like the quality and the ride

height to the top of roof is 77”

Did you plumb the JIC fittings and line? Looks nice! No rubbing at full lock and articulation?
Yes sir and no rubbing at full lock. I can't comment regarding articulation yet. I'll have to report back when I get back from vacation and have a chance to stretch it's legs ;-)

Great looking rig! While I'm waiting on my JTRD to come in... I'm doing my research and trying to figure out if I should do a 2.5" or 3.5" lift with 38" tires. I do plan on doing the fender chop with the quake led turn signals for a little more clearance. but any suggestions?

If you are chopping the fenders the clayton 2.5 (really more like 3ish) will be plenty even for 38s. The bigger question is how much rock crawling you do where you are rubbing the belly as the extra inch is really for that break over angle.

I completely agree with bleda2002. The Clayton 2.5 is closer to 3", especially on a gas motor due to less weight up front (300 - 400 lbs). Add your fender chop on top of that and you'd fit 38's no problem.

I stuck with 37's because for me, they are the perfect balance between off-road performance, weight, on-road daily driver capable, and looks. - the Goldie Locks if you will. I'm building an overlanding rig for my kids and me (creating memories) and it needs to be a daily driver too.
