what about the vague "wandering" that solid axle and wranglers have?
Good question and attention to detail their is a little bit of that going on and not as much as the Wrangler. The tires are aggressive and I am going to put a bigger tire on her and not as aggressive. It will be interesting to see if that helps, And I have the JL with BF Goodrich 35s and she rides really nice.

What psi do you have in the tires?

The cold tire rating inside the door jam which I think is 37psi and with all the vehicles I am pretty sure that’s the pressure. But I always to a tee check my tire pressures and especially after buying a new car. The dealers never adjust the tires to the proper inflation. Typically manufacturers over inflate the tires knowing cars will sit from build date to sale date for possibly 6-9 months.

Just put in my bed cover Jeep product, hood deflector and mud flaps all Jeep accessories. The front mud flaps do not fit GLADIATORS so make sure if you buy them only rear. And the front hood deflector I modified the install the clips are a joke I drilled her out.
did you get the mudflaps listed under Gladiator in the accessories catalog?

@IceAge , Can the very front of hard cover be tilted up as well? As in resting against cab. For instance if I’m throwing mulch in there, just for more clearance. I know mulch in a Jeep?¿!! Travesty!:) Sorry ,still like a usable trucks :)

Went to the dealer and parts dept sold them. First time I purchased them for the front they said the Gladiator will work. Went back and the notes say will not fit Rubicon with rock rails front. Back fit fine so have too look in the future for aftermarket fronts.

My first full day of driving and here is combined highway, city and back roads. I drove some back roads this evening and tried to duplicate my Toyota 4Runner driving. And can’t emphasize I have other vehicles meaning Range Rovers which has the air ride suspensions and are over the top on rough roads. My Toyota 4Runner PRO in my eyes was the most awesome go over the road and eat up the bumps best off road vehicle besides my 2018 Ford Raptor. And no this could not compete against a Raptor on open all out rough terrain. And not my 4Runner Pro either. Point is I drive different vehicles and can give a pretty good and fair to the brand assessment. The Gladiator is definitely right there with the 4Runner Pro and would give the 4RUNNER a win but not by much. The Gladiator definitely beats the New JL Wrangler Rubicon and my Toyota Tacoma 2019 Pro. Great vehicle and you won’t be disappointed knowing your capabilities will exceed the Wrangler and the mid size truck market cause I have the new Ranger as well and she’s nice but not Tough nice.

And my Ford Raptor which I just traded
And yes the Ford Raptor is the baddest ass truck I have ever owned.

Obviously tremendously superbly qualified to say all that stuff you said.

However, you omitted two criteria causing this petition of protest.

Blind Jeep Brand Loyalty.
Plywood Rating.

Either of these factors easily push JT into the winner's circle.

For reference, please see 2019 Kentucky Derby.

Yup, really like the looks of the Gladiator and the idea of having my PU truck, in Wrangler style.
However, I have always limited my budget for vehicles and have only bought one new vehicle, which was a Jeep Comanche from a dealer friend and neighbor.
Sooooooooo, it looks like I'll be waiting a couple of years and for getting one from Enterprise car sales.
If this is to really happen, it'll be my last PU, considering my age now.
Kept the Comanche for 18yrs and my present F150, I've had for 15yrs now, so.............

Here is the hard trifold cover. I don’t think I have seen any real world pictures yet. Just this.

In case anyone is interested in the hard trifold tonneau cover you might want to read up about it on the Mopar site. Looks nice. But when I took a close look at it this cover seems to be actually 4 panels, not 3 like it appears to be. Take a close look at the picture and at a diagram of it from the PDF instructions and you will see that there appears to be a very short fourth panel, maybe 5 inches deep, at the front, by the cab of the truck. So if you think it’s a 20 inch opening when folded then I think it’s a tad more due to this short fourth panel.

One other observation is that in the description of this cover on the Mopar site it says:

The front panel also opens for easy access to cargo stored in the front of the bed.

However it does not say how you can do that in the PDF instructions. I’m certain that there must be some certain release handle on the inside but how could you get to that from the outside of a closed tonneau cover?

Exciting day being I ordered the 37 tires, wheels and lift kit. I’ll post the new pics next week when she gets done hopefully Tuesday. Toyo tires, Rhino wheels and Rough Country lift 2 1/2. My good friend owns a tire shop and he’s going to do all the work. The beauty of these Jeeps is the personalization and all the cool things are endless to make them truly yours.

In case anyone is interested I have attached a few pictures showing the piece of plastic that is designed to be cut out from the bed side rails so you can then mount the brackets that the rear of the soft cover are secured to. I am almost willing to bet that it’s the same set up with the hard folding tonneau cover.
