Been a couple of abomination dually SEMA builds. Right up there with the 6x6 conversions. Pretty much worthless outside of being a snickering conversation starter at a Cars and Coffee event.

The second one looks OK from the front 3/4… but from behind it looks broken or breaking. Legally, I bet it lowers the payload lol.

Hmmm. Would there be a serious real-world use for a midsized dually? Done correctly (power train and a strong enough real axle) with a shorter wheel base and narrower profile, would a smaller dually be useful in a urban environment? Or a tight windy mountain road? I remember driving into Redwood National Forest and those roads got uncomfortably tight

That's got to be a show pony and not functional outside of a flat parking lot. @Alpine Warthog I could see the use for a short dually for maneuverability, I have a couple neighbors with bigger campers and we use my JTRD to maneuver them because it's shorter and can cut harder. A dually teases at a 5th wheel or goose neck hitch, but the frame isn't there for it. Anyone remember when they were breaking f150s in half?
