According to the dealership and their recall campaign paperwork the fix for the fuel pump will be out 8/17/2023.

No details on what the fix is though.

I wonder if anything will come for the derating issue. I'm thinking if that new grill design and the fact that the Wrangler is now rated for 5,000lbs of towing can't be a coincidence - maybe it helps us too?

The changes made that increase towing capacity on the Wrangler are likely based on what they did to the JT to get the capacity it has. It may help with the existing issues, but there won't be any capacity increase for the JT.
