The original pump is so dirty, it will be obvious if it was replaced or not. It would take more work to clean it than to replace it.
See if they give you a new repair service ticket and if not, put them on the spot of why?

Ok I finally had time to go back to the dealership. My service advisor got all defensive when I said my pump hasn’t been replaced and said “We don’t do that kind of stuff here.” The service manager looked at my engine and said that their mechanic mixed my car up with another car. They took my car back and said it will be done by tomorrow.

Who knows what really happened. That’s the story they’re giving me.
They pencil whipped it. REMEMBER TO ASK TO SEE THE OLD PARTS!

The service advisor said that they have to send the old part back to Jeep and they can’t close the recall until they do that. So Jeep has some kind of tracking system for this. I wonder if they would’ve contacted me eventually to let me know that they screwed up.

Ask to SEE the old parts. You're not taking them home. They HAVE to show you the old parts.

Did anyone notice that the fuel pump makes a buzzing sound after you turn the engine off?

I’m not sure if the old pump did this too and I just never noticed. Is this normal?

The buzzing is totally normal. I am on my third fuel pump and it seems like some buzz and some don’t. My first pump buzzed really loud, second pump didn’t, and now my third pump buzzes softly. My pumps seem to fail regardless of buzzing or not lol. Don’t be worried about it.

My old one use to do it, I haven't noticed it as much with the new one.

My old pump buzzed. The recall pump buzzes. It's the solenoid on the pump that making the noise. It does it for 3 minutes.
