I received the call to come pick up the truck! Below is a description of work performed. I will pick it up within the next day or so. I am no mechanic by any means and looking for some input as to what was done. I consider myself lucky as I really like my service writer and shop foreman at the dealer. Love this forum and all who participate ?. The education has been priceless.

There's a TSB for this very thing - and Jeep suggests replacing lash adjusters (they are calling tappets here) due to a ticking sound.
The TSB says to replace all lash adjusters on the side the tick is coming from.
It almost looks like they were aware of that TSB and follows the procedures, but didn't mention it so maybe it was like "hey, I've seen this before" sort of thing.
Gee, they even performed checks/scans like they should.

Wow, so they actually found something and fixed it. I'm gonna have to take mine in now and give them this info so they have a place to start (and maybe end). Thanks for keeping us updated.

@ShadowsPapa Great feedback. I was hoping you would reply good or bad. Thank you for your input sir! Greatly appreciated.

@sabinjo Absolutely and like @ShadowsPapa stated there is a TSB on this issue and maybe worth mentioning to the service writer should they push back on any repairs. Keep us posted!

I'm having something similar maybe? I'm new to jeep so still paranoid as fk. I took a video from underneath and it seemed more prominent. Mine is a 2021 with 54k on it. Not really getting worse but it's there. Just to double check, the power train covers this if there is an issue right. That's 60k if I remember right.

Fyi it's bike week here so a lot of that in the background. Both videos are from a cold start of like 10 hrs but makes no difference when warm. On initial start from a over night cool down the ticking is loud for like a couple seconds but I had a Sierra ls 5.3 where that was normal until the oil got everywhere
