Hey Guy, any of you see the cheaper 409 stainless exhaust kit from EOC?

Wondering how it would sound coupled to the stock axle back.

think there will be be a large difference in performance keeping the stock axle back???

anyways, it’s $389 bucks, which is far less expensive than the 304 stainless kit they offer, only difference is material and this exhaust does not have a flex joint.

I know … sure is pretty, ain’t it ???

I see you got the resonator, did you also get the axle back? How does it sound?

order exhaust first and then a tuned computer, still waiting on it. I didn’t get the axle back, gonna see how it sounds first. I tow a travel trailer so I don’t want it too loud, wife would be pissed

304>409 all day long. Unless you live in the desert, longevity wise there is no way.

I have had a rough time getting ahold of eoc for the past couple weeks- anyone make recent success? Called no one answers, wrote- no response yet :|

I have the turbo down to axle right now with resonator. It’s very quiet, not sure how restrictive it is. I ordered the axle back on Jan 4 and I’m still waiting, too cold for me to install anyways. The 304 exhaust is art.

I did a dpf back replace, took out two cans of dubious function and about 50 lbs. Sound wise, not louder, always been quiet and smooth, tone did drop a little lower, like you can hear it's a diesel. Metal wise it's 3"standard thick wall exhaust pipe, whatever metal that is, it's tucked up and I kept the turn down so you don't see it, straight bolt on, none of those word Chinese finger trap connectors. I haven't noticed any performance gains, only removing low hanging things to get snagged on

I'm not sure warranty is part of the equation for those of us looking at this vendor's solution, but longevity definitely is.
I figured maybe on an exhaust thread someone could answer a question I had about putting one in my JT.

I've got my take off pipe standing up in the corner in the garage, if it comes up.... Couple bolts and plug in some hangers, whose to say that's not covered...... Not if you get into sensors and stuff, the computer will probably snitch on you.

Seems like the easiest way is to post on eoc page on fb.

The 304 is really nice. I'm thoroughly impressed and think it's totally worth the price. Fitment was great as well, something I can't say about most bolt-on exhausts I buy.

But the cheaper exhaust is a nice option, and with no wait time. Just throwing in my endorsement for the pricey kit.

Damn, seeing the whole train laid out, sxs, I only got rid of the last two cans, looks like there's a couple extra ones as well as some actuators, sensors, dealies and thingamajigers. What kind of tuner did you need to get that straight pipe to work with the computer?
