Error code P0341 Camshaft position sensor ’A’ circuit range bank1 or single sensor

I have the similar situation. Dealer did TSB and that just reduced frequency. Like it was mentioned it pops up when I take off immediately after starting the engine. Not sure if it is moving steering wheel but If I wait until gauges power up, I never get the code.

Having previously owned a Jeep Liberty CRD, I have always waited a bit for fluids to get moving, before I take off or move. Just a preventative habit, I guess. I might have been moving the steering wheel, thus sending an electrical signal, so am being cautious to not do that, or anything else for that matter right at start up. So far it hasn't returned. I'll still do the TSB and wrap to prevent possible EMI.

Ok, it's been 30-33k miles since I started getting the P0341 code. Finally brought it to the dealership and had it looked at, as well as a Stop/Start battery since it's 300 miles until the warranty runs out. They performed the wiring harness modifications, so here's crossing my fingers I don't get it anymore. I will say I'm quite happy, a very painless 2 days to get both things taken care of w/o any fuss. I did prep it by disco'ing the aftermarket electrical work from the battery & neatly rolled it back and tucked it away in a pouch to avoid giving them a reason to complain.

Wish you luck. It did not fix it on my 2023 Rubicon. The only way to avoid it is wait a minute after engine crank before shifting or moving steering wheel.

How is your battery voltage? Mine is constantly below 12V when I crank the engine. I am wandering if that is not the problem. Low voltage fails to fully energize crank position sensor that causes wrong sensor reading.

It certainly dips, I'm not sure how low. S/S battery was just replaced; main battery I believe is still original. I have wondered something along the same lines with the electric power steering pump drawing power as the engine is cranked and for the initial first couple seconds of run time until the system is pressurized; does the turned wheel cause more of a load on the power steering pump?

Mine only started doing this after replacing factory steering pump with a PSC unit. My understanding of the difference is 1400 PSI variable up to 1800 PSI with factory vs PSC constant 1800 PSI. The PSC does a much better job turning 42’s.
The not turning the steering wheel within 5 seconds of start seems to be the fix.
