Exhaust Manifold breakage

I recently to my Glad to the dealer for an exhaust leak. Was told today that the passenger side exhaust manifold is cracked.
They have no idea when they will be able to get a replacement.
Is this a common failure point on the Gen3 ecodiesel or is this just my bad luck?

How did you notice it. Was it a tickin type sound? ive got a weird noise when accelerating coming from underhood and cant seem to to pin it down

No noise at all, I could smell it though and standing next to the engine compartment would make your eyes water.

This is the first I’ve seen this mentioned. At least in this forum.

just curious, how many miles do you have?
I’m about to hit 19k.
