Existing Bed Lights

I think the existing bed lights in the Gladiator are great. When I have the door open they light up the whole bed of the truck. I know people have added lights to their beds, but what I would like to know has anyone been able to rig the lights so that they will turn on and stay on when the tailgate is down? OR rig it so that they stay on more than 90 seconds when the door is open. Thanks.

Tazer has the option to have the lights on for 30 mins.

One of the most useful features of the Tazer that nothing else on the market can do.
Press unlock on the fob 3x for the bed lights to come on. Press 5x for bed lights and reverse lights. Press lock to turn them off, or if you forget, they will turn off automatically after 30 minutes.

Oh man, I think that solves a mystery that's been plaguing me for months now.

I have the Maximus 3 chase bar with the lights on it tied to my cargo lights. its ridiculously helpful for cargo lighting. but my neighbor tells me that on more than one occasion, Ill drive off with the lights on. Ill check and the cargo light button on the dash is off.

the odd thing is that I am not pressing unlock more than twice on my remote. is there anything else on the tazer that I may have messed with that would cause the cargo lights to come on?

I believe the bed lights come on with the interior lights with a normal unlock, but those should be off as soon as you take it out of park, I think.

For the record, I found when I first got the Gladiator, I was unconsciously hitting the button 3+ times leftover from my old Ram, where once unlocked the driver, twice unlocked the rest, but sometimes the 14yr old battery in the remote missed one, so I was clicking it 3-4 times as I got close.
