Just bought a new 2023 High Altitude.
Is the additional warranty worth it? You already get 3 years @ 36,000 miles.
The additional warranty would take it to 8 years @ 60,000 miles for a cost of $4,000 with a $100 deductible or $3,840 with a $200 deductible.
I’ll only be driving it about 6,000 to 8,000 miles a year. I plan on keeping the Gladiator forever.

The extended warranty is essentially an insurance policy. I think it is a good idea to get one. Get the Mopar warranty, and shop around. They are available for much less than the typical dealer usually charges. Also, don't wait to purchase, the plans get more expensive as the vehicle ages and mileage increases.

Not sure where you got pricing from?? Local dealer?

There are several threads to read about extended warranties including buying factory warranty online to save money...

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/search/1623923/?q=extended+warranty&o=date

For some of the best prices on factory warranties, contact Tom Winkle at Hayes Jeep in Kalamazoo MI. You can email him or call....

Email is: [email protected]
phone 1-269-488-2080

He can save you a lot of money on a factory warranty instead of buying it from your selling dealer.

These trucks have been around for several years and for the most part have been very dependable.
Save your money for something else.

For that low of mileage per year, you will be better off sticking that $4K in another investment instrument you can pull from if needed.

I was just offered $950 for the same thing from one of the Mopar Warranty Vendors for my 2021 HA with 8K... Don't do it, shop outside of your dealer...

Dealer will match whatever you find elsewhere. They basically halved their quote to match my credit union's price.

Some dealers will. Mine would not. What they had to offer was limited, and they said the price I could get it for was lower than their cost. I didn't believe that, since they are not small or low volume, but they were not willing to work with me. I was going to order a new truck, but they would only go $750 below MSRP. I canceled the Extended Warranty they sold me with the truck, got my money back, and bought a better one from Tom.
