So I've been carrying a Tractor Supply jerry can on my JKU and now my JT for about 5 years now and it's come in handy many times. Low on gas and don't feel like hitting a gas station just to get home, friends running out of gas, lawn mowers, blah blah blah. Well the can is getting rusty and the cap doesn't seal well anymore so I'm always smelling gas coming from the bed where I keep the can. Rotopax products are nice but $$$, Wavian NATO cans are nice as well but again, $$$. What solutions have you all come up with?

Harbor freight sells them for $40 (I think) and you can always get a 20% off coupon. I have two of them and they seem well made. They are steel not plastic too.

The Scepter Military Cans come in 20L and 10L size and are hands down the best fuel carrying cans I've ever came across. A bit hard to find at a reasonable price and they need an add-on fuel spout but I think they're worth it. They also make and sell excellent water cans.
