I'm really expecting too much out of them. Just getting them out of the shop is worth something.

Buying stuff w cash isn't easy for most people....if they are looking used, unmounted, my believe is anything over 300 for any size is hard to achieve... Even if they are worth a bunch...

Tires need to be mounted ....

All little stuff but kill the market

That is very true. I got a great deal on the 35s but paid another $125 to mount and balance all 5

I sold my Falken Wildpeaks for $400 with 15K miles on them. Started at $500 and they sat for 3 months with tire kicking offers here and there. The day I dropped them to $400, they sold same day to a landscaper that threw them on his RAM.

The take offs sold today to one of the first people who replied on fb yesterday. I had them listed at $550 and he asked for bottom dollar so I said $475. Today when I found out he driving 2 hours to get them I dropped that down to $450 but he actually gave me $460. I'm surprised but over 25 people contacted me about them and I was offered $500 several times. Of course, there’s no telling how many of those were serious offers or people just seeing how low I’d go. The guy who bought them was replacing a set of 10 ply Wildpeaks on his 07 FJ that he said had almost 70,000 miles on them. He even pulled a trailer down to haul them back. Very nice guy and I was happy to get enough out of them to pay for the set of five 35” Walmart specials I bought back in November.

My opinion is that following the advice from here and starting fairly low helped get them sold and out of storage quickly.

Sold my AT3s WITH Rubicon wheels for 400 bucks and even threw in the steel spare. 16,000 miles. I feel like I got my money’s worth.

I just posted mine locally with a bit less miles on them for $800. If I don't get any takers I might see if I can pop the bead on them, keep my tpms sensors, and then sell the tires and wheels separately (there are a lot of non jeep wheels being sold locally so I'm hoping I might reach a bigger market selling the tires that way).

Hopefully yours will sell as quickly as mine did. With mine, I was more concerned with getting them gone than making much off them. I'm happy with what I got but I have no doubt that with a little patience they would have brought more.

The person who was second in line for my tires was a JL owner. I offered to throw my stock wheels in on the deal if the first guy didn't take them. She liked the look of mine compared to her Sport wheels but finally declined due to me only having 4 Rubicon wheels and the steel spare.

I was a little mad when I sold mine. Had em on OfferUp for 450, guy said he was coming from over an hour away and asked if I’d take 400. I said sure whatever. He came and picked them up. 30 minutes later he posted them for 600, and used MY pictures for his post, couldn’t even snap his own photo. It was then that I learned how to say no to people ?

Yes that would upset me too. I just accepted a friend request from the guy who bought mine. I hope to not see them relisted! Actually I don't really care. I did notice that a few of the replies to my listing were from people who I've seen selling tires here in southeastern Oklahoma.

Been there a few times giving "Buddy" prices to people thinking you are do them a favor and it will be for personal use, to only find it up for sale elsewhere and priced higher.

Quick lesson learned to know the real market and when to invest in the long or short game of selling.

At the end of the day as long as I get what I want it’s all good. I sold two 300 dollar beach cruisers to a nice older man who said his wife had a hip replacement and he was trying to get her back out and exercising. I had sympathy for him, my wife had a hip replacement too. So I gave him both for 200. He took them home, cleaned them up and posted them for 250 each. I messaged him and said wtf, did she not like the color or something?
So now when someone asks me what the best price is, first thing I do is check their items for sale. If they look like resellers then they aren’t getting a deal from me. That same guy had 15 bikes for sale. I should’ve known.

I just sold 4 with only 800 miles on them for $600. Sold on FB. Took a few weeks to sell. People kept offering 400 - 500.

I don't know the market for Wildpeaks currently but I had purchased 4 tires and 5 Rubicon rims for $650 a few years back with only 5000 miles on them
