What is everyone's favorite non-factory aux switch product and why? I have run SPOD for years with no issues but would like to hear what others chose and/or like and why? Personally, I like how the wires tie into the SPOD by having a terminal end on the accessory wires that then screws into place rather than having to make a wire splice type connection to the control box. Some that I have looked at have leads coming out of the control box that you either have to splice onto or I guess you could put a connection end on the wires to make it easy to disconnect/reconnect if needed.

I noticed the trigger 6 shooter product seems to have connections on the leads out of the control box and then it interestingly has a wireless connection between the control box and the switches (RF signal) so you don't have to run anything thru your firewall or behind the dash/trim.

Open to hear other suggestions/recommendations on which aux switch package with any special install tips associated with them

Thanks.

I’m enjoying the Volswitch. Looks factory and uses the grab handle.

I moved away from Trigger 6 shooter. Too many connections issues with Bluetooth and RF. The App is also not CarPlay compatible. I’ve since been using Garmin’s PowerSwitch. App is CarPlay compatible and you can use Siri commands.

Looks like it wires up similar to the SPOD. Definitely a cheaper option that looks like it would do all the same simple operations as well. Something to look at for sure.

Thanks. I was wondering about that with the Trigger 6 shooter. I'll have to check out the Garmin Powerswitch. Haven't looked at it before.

I went with S-Switch for the relay and wiring. I had a custom toggle swith panel made by Concord Aerospace for the actual switches.

I run the VOSwitch JL300. 6 switches and goes in the factory location. Installation was a breeze. The control cable is small and I ran it into the cab under the windshield and down thru the drivers speaker hole.

I like the look and it works perfectly. If I run out of switches (got one left on it now), I'll get the grab handle model to supplement it.

I’m running the SwitchPro 9100 and have no complaints at all. Solid setup so far.
